The Subnational Corruption Database (Baseline, Comprehensive, and SUB-CPI/SUB-CCI datasets, v1.0) is published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license. You are free to use, share, and adapt the data, including for commercial purposes, provided you give appropriate credit (see How to cite) and indicate if changes were made.
Note that the underlying source surveys (Afrobarometer, the Global Corruption Barometer, LAPOP, and others) remain copyrighted by their original publishers. The raw individual-level data is therefore not distributed by CorruptionRadar. Only the aggregated, derived datasets that constitute the SCD are released openly.
The text and visualizations on this site (including the curated infographics on /visuals) are licensed under CC BY 4.0, with the same attribution requirement.
